Prepare an introduction and background report for your project.

Your report should be around 750 words covering your introduction and 1000 words covering background of your project. This report should ideally become introduction and related work sections of your final project paper. The coverage of this report should demonstrate your competence with the content of the project. Your writing should be clear, engaging, technically sound, and written in an appropriate style for an academic publication.

Your introduction section should address:

• the problem and its importance
• challenges
• the missing pieces in previous studies
• the key components of your approach

Your related work review should address:

• the motivation for analyzed papers
• the main results of the work studied
• your critical assessment of the authors' work
• whether the paper makes reasonable assumptions
• the relation of the paper to related literature
• a critical evaluation of the results of the paper
